I am exploring the interruption and occupation of landscape positing where, if anywhere, do normative bodies fit within a wilderness context and how these reclusive sites in nature are defined. Most recently in 2019 I have been combining printed and dyed works on fabric with multimedia expressions and ephemeral installations – utilizing textiles as backdrops and shrouds to obstruct forms and scenes, playing with camouflage and anti-camouflage. My work surrounds nuanced daily exploitations of natural spaces, natural imagery and the language we use to navigate these sites.
